I did. I notified VeriBlock of my article in its telegram and discord channel. VeriBlock told me that its whitepaper is outdated and that another PoP protocol is used at this time. I then offered to update my article as soon as a new whitepaper reflects the current state of affairs. (VeriBlock indicated that, at the moment, it prioritizes onboarding altcoins over updating the whitepaper and open-sourcing, though.)
